A heavy duty capacitor, which can be recharged repeatedly, stores the energy and delivers power to a Super Bright StarCore® LED. 25 - 30 seconds of shaking provides up to 20 minutes of light. NightStar's state of the art components are contained within a high strenth polycarbonate housing weighing only 11 ounces.
